Does Gelagen Work? What the Evidence Allows Us to Say
No study of Gelagen itself is linked anywhere we looked, so no one can say it works. Research on its nutrients shows roles in the body, and a few small studies of biotin in hair and nail problems. For healthy skin with enough intake, evidence of a gain from a gummy is thin.

What can be said?
That vitamins A, C, D, E, B vitamins and zinc are needed for normal skin and body function, and that a shortage can show up in skin, hair or nails (AAD, Supplements for your skin). That is a statement about need, not about adding more to a diet that already meets it.
What about biotin?
Biotin deficiency is rare, and the signs include thin hair and a scaly rash. NIH says that apart from deficiency, claims for hair, skin and nails rest on case reports and small studies (NIH ODS, Biotin). A dose of 5,000 mcg is far above need.
What would count as proof?
A randomized trial of this gummy against a placebo, measuring skin or hair with a standard method, in enough people for long enough. We found none for Gelagen. Without it, the honest answer is unknown, not no and not yes.
