The FTC's rule on fake reviews, effective October 2024, bans fake or false reviews and testimonials, buying reviews conditioned on sentiment, undisclosed insider reviews and review suppression (FTC, Fake Reviews Final Rule (2024)). Its guidance adds that paying for positive reviews is prohibited even on third-party platforms (FTC, Reviews Rule Q&A). We follow that standard, and we say here that we earn money from order links, which is why we do not hold a review open or hide one.
