Gelagen Dosage: Two Gummies a Day and What It Means for the Numbers
The Gelagen dose is two gummies a day with a full glass of water, about 30 minutes before a morning or afternoon meal. Under reading A that gives 5,000 mcg of biotin a day, and under reading B it gives 10,000 mcg. The product sheet describes no higher dose, so do not take extra.

What is the dose?
Two gummies a day, with a full glass of water, about 30 minutes before a morning or afternoon meal. That is the whole instruction in the product sheet, and the jar's own directions take priority if they differ. A jar of 60 therefore lasts about 30 days.
What does the dose make of each amount?
It depends on the serving. If the listed amounts are for two gummies, you take them as listed: 5,000 mcg of biotin, 630 mcg of vitamin A, 2.7 mg of zinc. If they are per gummy, double each. In both cases no nutrient but biotin gets near a high multiple of its Daily Value (FDA, Daily Value).
Why not take more?
Because nothing in the product sheet supports it and the biotin is already far above need. More gummies would add vitamin A, which has a pregnancy limit (NIH ODS, Vitamin A), and zinc, which can block some antibiotics. A larger dose adds risk with no benefit we can show.

Ask a pharmacist before changing the dose or splitting a gummy. The amounts are not stated per half. If cost or biotin is the worry, the better question is whether you need the product at all. The how to use page covers missed days and timing.

FAQ01
Gelagen questions people ask
Can I take one Gelagen gummy a day?
The product sheet directs two. A single gummy would halve every amount and we have no source on whether that suits you. Ask a pharmacist if you want to change it.
Is the dose the same for men and women?
The product sheet gives one adult dose. Needs differ by life stage, so a pregnant or nursing woman should ask her clinician.
Does the dose change with weight?
Not in the product sheet. There is one adult dose, and no child dose, because the gummies are described for adults 18 and over.
