Is Gelagen Safe? What the Label and the Sources Show
No safety study of Gelagen itself is linked anywhere we looked, so no one can call it safe for everyone. Most of the 13 listed nutrients sit at or below one Daily Value, which suits most healthy adults. The exceptions are the biotin dose, which can skew blood tests, and vitamin A in pregnancy.

What does safe mean for a supplement?
It means the ingredients are within known limits, the product is made well and you are not in a group that needs care. FDA does not review supplements before sale (FDA, Dietary Supplements), so the first of those is on the maker and the buyer. Safe is a judgment about you, not only about the jar.
What is reassuring about the list?
Most amounts are modest. If they are per two gummies, vitamin A is about 70 percent of its Daily Value, zinc about 25 percent and iodine about 28 percent. None reaches the adult upper limit NIH sets for it (NIH ODS, Vitamin A). Folate and B12 are above one Daily Value but have no upper limit for B12 and a limit for folate that applies to synthetic folic acid.
What needs a second look?
Biotin at 5,000 mcg can change lab results (FDA, Biotin and troponin tests). Vitamin A matters in pregnancy. Zinc and iodine can interact with some medicines. And because the other ingredients are not listed in our material, an allergy to a dye or flavor cannot be ruled out.
